Barbara Anita Denmark

Barbara Anita Denmark, 67, passed away on Sept. 29, 2023, at her home in Perry.

She was born Nov. 4, 1955, in Perry to Nolan Walker and Imogene Moss Walker.

Barbara loved going to the beach and jazzercise. She was a very outspoken, lovable and sweet person who never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Nolan and Imogene Walker; her daughter, Amanda Suzanne Denmark; and her brother, Lloyd Walker.

She is survived by: her husband of more than 53 years, Tommy Denmark; two children, Heidi Denmark and Thomas Denmark (Dallas); three grandchildren, Brittany J. Faircloth, Amanda J. Denmark and Sarah J. Denmark; two brothers, David Moss and Kenny Wayne Walker; and one sister, Ramona Parker; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Garland Stout officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m.
