Revis Andrew Rose, 61, passed away on Oct. 4, 2023, in Gainesville. R

He was born March 30, 1962, in Alexandria, La., to Crawford Allen Rose and Ann Lynne Mirandona Rose.

Revis was a loving husband to Frances Rose, father to Henry Rose, stepfather to Gabrielle Cicerella and Rebecca Hargreaves, and grandfather to Milly Cicerella and Shaun Hargreaves.

He honorably served his country as the Chief Petty Officer First Class of the United States Coast Guard.

He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish.

He enjoyed being part of the Perry Masonic Lodge. He loved tinkering with cars and shooting at the range. Revis worked as an Electronics Technician with the military for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Crawford Allen Rose Jr. and Ann Lynne Mirandona.

Mr. Rose is survived by: his wife, Frances A Rose; son, Henry Rose; stepson, Gabrielle Cicerella; stepdaughter, Rebecca Hargreaves; grandchildren, Milly Cicerella and Shaun Hargreaves; brother, Crawford Allen Rose III; and sisters, Helen Jewel Rose and Celeste Marie Rose.

He will be missed by a host of stepbrothers, stepsisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service will be held at a later date.

All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
