Suicide victim, 74, found at Mandalay boat ramp

A 74-year-old Crawfordville man shot and killed himself in the parking lot of the Taylor County Mandalay Public Boat Ramp Sunday; he was discovered Monday by a kayaker who had stopped to use the ramp’s facilities.

An autopsy has been conducted on the man, whose identity was not released by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office due to the open investigation.
