Cox spotlighted as ‘Member of the Year’

For the Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce, Friday’s annual banquet provided a night to look back over a year of successes as well as peer ahead at the coming year, during which new Chairman Wade Goodman said he hopes they will be able to “reintroduce” themselves to their members and the community.

Some 270 local business representatives and government officials gathered at the Perry Elks Lodge to “Put on the Ritz” with emcee Cline Moore, who injected the evening with a mixture of humor and serious reflection on the power of community members working together.
