The closure of the Georgia-Pacific (GP) Foley mill will result in the loss of an estimated 1,022 jobs, $77 million in payroll and an estimated $377 million in total industry output in Taylor County, according to a report by economists with the UF Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (IFAS) Economic Impact Analysis Program.
