Norman “Norm” Davis

Norman “Norm” Davis gained his heavenly wings on Sunday, March 28, 2023. Born May 28, 1952, Norm served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, when he was stationed in Norfolk, Va. Norm arrived in Keaton Beach in 1982 aboard the shrimp boat “Capt. Herb.” Keaton Beach’s fishing and hunting kept Norm in the area until his death. Norm was an avid hunter – taking to the woods during bow, black powder and general gun season. When not hunting, you could find him fishing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his friend, Sue Martin. Norm was a good, kind soul and will be missed by many friends. Services will be held at Blue Creek Baptist Church on Friday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Justin Goins officiating. Immediately following the ceremony, Norm’s ashes will be spread at the #1 channel marker out of Keaton Beach. Anyone wishing to attend the spreading of ashes, please contact Sandy Beach.
