BBQ pulled pork fundraiser set for Dec. 16

A fundraiser is planned Saturday, Dec. 16, in the Winn-Dixie parking lot to benefit Cassidy Terry, who is recovering from a car accident that left her with two broken wrists, a dislocated femur and shattered hip.

She has been out of work since Oct. 25, and has undergone surgery on her hip and one of her wrists, both of which were rebuilt.

Volunteers will be selling pulled pork sandwiches along with two sides (your choice of coleslaw, baked beans, macaroni and cheese or potato salad) and a dessert (banana pudding, cookies or brownies).

Dinners will be $10 per plate, with all proceeds going to cover bills, doctor’s appointments in Gainesville and physical therapy.
