Local tax office ‘blooms’ on float in Rose Parade

Donate Life Florida, the state’s organ and tissue education organization, honored its motor vehicle and government agency partners with five dedicated roses on the 2014 Donate Life Rose Parade Float, with one of those roses dedicated to the Taylor County Tax Collector’s Office for boasting the most improved donor registration rate in the state.

“I want to thank Taylor County and the staff of the Taylor County Tax Collector’s Office for the improvement in donor participation,” Tax Collector Mark Wiggins said. “Each new registered organ donor has the possibility of saving lives in the future.”
