Edna Merle Bradshaw

Edna Merle Bradshaw, 94, passed away on Jan. 1, 2024, in Mayo. She was born April 17, 1929, in Perry to John Carlie Jackson and Stella Padgett Jackson. Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed serving other people. She was a member of the Perry Church of Christ, where she served faithfully for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Marvin “Brad” Bradshaw; her parents, John Carlie and Stella Jackson; one brother, Earl Jackson; and two sisters, Dorothy Hamilton and Virginia Sheffield. She is survived by: four children, June Singletary (Emory), Barbara Lytle (Darrell), Terry Bradshaw (Pat) and John Bradshaw (Cindy); 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Jim Hartman officiating. Interment services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
