DeMarrio Bryant (right), whose life of faith and service was cut tragically short Saturday, Dec. 30, when the 43-year-old died as a result of an off-duty motorcycle crash, led Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church here for two and one-half years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he began his law enforcement career with the FAMU Police Department in 2012 and joined the ranks of the Tallahassee Police Department in 2020.
DeMarrio Bryant took the law enforcement creed to “protect and serve” seriously, going above and beyond not only as an officer of the law, but also as a man of faith.
