Tree giveaway on Jan. 19

The Perry Garden Club (PGC), in partnership with Taylor County Master Gardener volunteers, will give away 800 free tree seedlings on Friday, Jan. 19, at the Grand Pavilion at Rosehead Park (adjacent to the Splash Pad) from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The giveaway is part of Florida’s annual Arbor Day celebration.

“All of the trees are native to our area, benefiting a host of wildlife with habitats for food and shelter,” PGC volunteers said.
