Free tax prep available every Monday, Saturday in February

Tax season is here, and local residents can get help with free tax prep and e-filing thanks to AARP’s Tax Aide program.

Volunteers will be at the First United Methodist Church every Saturday, starting Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tax Aide volunteers will also be at Forest Capital Hall every Monday in February from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

March and April hours will be announced at a later date.

All services are free.
