District, teachers’ union to resume talks

Let’s find out who doesn’t have planning time and let’s get them some planning time…let’s get our pay where we want it so we can be competitive in our area. Let’s get our teachers some planning time. The local teachers’ union — Taylor Education Association (TEA) — and school district officials are slated to continue contract talks today (Friday) as they strive to reach a final settlement on salaries retroactive to the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.
