Public safety complex site is now on Carlton Cemetery Rd.

County officials have applied for state funding to begin the planning and design for a new Public Safety Complex that could potentially house the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor County Fire-Rescue (TCFR), the county’s emergency operations center (EOC) and — in the future — an emergency shelter.
