District, union reach tentative deal

At a Friday, Feb. 2 meeting, members of the bargaining teams representing the Taylor Education Association (TEA) and Taylor County School District reached a tentative agreement on a proposal that would increase teacher salaries retroactive to the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.
