Mark Erle Davis, 65, passed away on Feb. 12, 2024, in Gainesville.
He was born Sept. 1, 1958, in Perry to Billy E. Davis and Anita F. Brown Davis.
Mark was an avid hunter and fisher. His favorite spot was Camp Misery, where he caught many trout and redfish.
He was also an avid Gator football fan and loved to golf at the Perry Golf and Country Club.
Mark worked as the chief maintenance mechanic with the City of Tallahassee for 20 years where he is remembered for his hard work and dedication.
He loved his family and would take them all fishing on the boat where they made many memories. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Billy E Davis and Anita F Brown Davis, and his brother, William Jackson Davis.
He is survived by: his wife of 39 years, Sandra L. Davis; his children, Joey and Cheyanne Davis, Zach Davis and Chelsea Davis; five grandchildren; two siblings, Lori Davis and Kyle Davis; a niece; and a nephew.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Perry Golf and Country Club on Friday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m. with Brother Jordan Smith officiating.
