Norman Cedric Livingston, 75, of Perry, was born May 7, 1948, to Cedric Livingston and Virgie Lee August.
He attended Jerkins High School and was a member of the 1965 Midwest Florida Co-Champs Championship Football Team.
He was former employer of Roberts’ Lumber Company.
Norman mission in life was to make sure his wife and daughter were well taken care of. He was quiet but when he spoke everyone listened.
His hobbies included: a self-taught carpenter, fishing, gardening and taking care of his beloved fruit trees.
Norman answered the Lord’s call on Friday, Feb, 9, 2024.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 54 years, Rhunette “Cookie” Livingston; his daughter, Lanora Livingston-Perry (Zolton); two grandchildren, Zachary Perry and Zoey Perry; brothers, Charles August (Bertha), Houston Wagner, Anthony Livingston (Kim), Wallace Hawkins and Alfred Hawkins (Maddie); sisters, Chalonie Hoelscher and Betty Christian (Bobbie); uncle, Riley Wynn (Maude); aunts, Edith Johnson and Lucy Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 16, from 5-6 p.m. at the Temple of God Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Temple of God Baptist Church.
Trinity Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
