Patsie Nadine Wise of Hosford was called home on Feb. 17, 2024. Patsie was born on May
4, 1941. She is survived by: her husband, Tommy Earl Wise; daughter, Patsy Lajuan (Murphy)
Bodiford; son, James Fredrick Murphy (wife, Jerrie); brother, William (Bill) Ellison; sisters,
Norma Jean McGuire and Laura Ann Johnson (husband, Barney); nine grandchildren; numerous
great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. Patsie was preceded in death by: her parents, Henry Levi and Maudie Sabra Ellison; husbands, Marvin G. Murphy of Perry and Delmar Lee Hale of New Iberia, La.;
brothers, Howard Ellison, Leroy Ellison, and Gerald Thigpen; sons, William Benjamin Murphy and Audie Lee Murphy; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Murphy, all of Perry; grandson, Peter Benjamin Cabral of Middleburg; and great-grandson, Malachi Gundrum of Valdosta, Ga. A private service will be held at a later date.
