Composting workshops planned March 9 and 23

Learn the benefits of backyard composting during two upcoming workshops planned Saturday, March 9, and Saturday, March 23.

The March 9 event will be held at the Perry Garden Club (207 Forest Park Drive) from 10-11:30 a.m.

The March 23 workshop will be held at the Steinhatchee Community Center (1013 Riverside Drive) from 10-11:30 a.m.

The cost will be $10, and covers the cost of the workshop and a compost thermometer.

The workshops are being sponsored by the UF/IFAS Taylor County County Extension Office and the Florida Master Gardener program.
