Richard Lee ‘Ricky’ Schell Jr.

Richard Lee “Ricky” Schell Jr., 38, passed away suddenly on March 26, 2024, in Perry.

He was born April 1, 1985, in Dunedin to Richard Lee Schell Sr. and Kristina Marie Krejcar Bray.

Ricky was of the Christian Faith. He was an avid outdoorsman, and fishing was his favorite hobby. He was employed with RDS Manufacturing as a powder coating technician.

He was preceded in death by: his sister, Ashly Schell; stepfather, Harvey Lee Bray Jr.; grandmother, Earline Bray; and grandmother, Darlene Schell.

He is survived by: two children Mekailyn Schell and Trentin Schell; his mother, Kris Bray; father, Rick Schell; brother, Jeremy Schell; maternal grandparents, Dale and Judy Krejcar Sr.; parernal grandfather, Gerald Schell; fiance, Shannon Copen; two aunts, Sandy Hendry (Larry) and Pat Bragdon (Frenchy) and three uncles, Dale Krejcar Jr. (Melissa), Jerry Schell (Melanie) and Randy Schell (Wendy); as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A private family celebration of life was held to honor his memory on Friday, March 29, at the home of his cousin Kristy (Brian) Blanchett.
