‘Brain Bus’ in Steinhatchee April 3

On Wednesday, April 3, the Alzheimer’s Association Brain Bus will be at the Dollar General in Steinhatchee (1110 1st Ave. SE) to provide free support services to families facing dementia.

The bus will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and no appointment is needed.

Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that affects memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms eventually grow severe enough to interfere with daily tasks.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, more than 11% of Taylor County residents age 65 and up are estimated to be living with Alzheimer’s.
