George Thomas Dickert, 81, was born on Aug. 11, 1942, in Boyd and passed away on April 5, 2024, in Fanning Springs.

He attended school at Taylor County High School and Mercer University.

George worked for Suwannee Lumber Company, Dixie Green Mulch Company and Knights Products. He served in the United States Navy.
