Emerson Allen ‘Buddy’ Jameson

Emerson Allen “Buddy” Jameson Jr., 74, passed away on April 5, 2024, at his home in Steinhatchee.

Bud was born March 27, 1950, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Emerson Allen Jameson Sr. and Virginia Chriswell Jameson.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war.

Bud loved boating, listening to the Beatles and his two dogs, Ruby and Cocoa.

He was preceded in death by: his siblings, Shirley, Shannon, Louise, Patricia and Margie; and his parents, Emerson and Virginia Jameson.

He is survived by: his son, Emerson Allen Jameson III; his brothers, Danny, J.D. and Garry Jameson; and his sisters, Jackie, Terry, Paula and Jerry; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
