Perry Women’s Club to hold soup and sandwich fundraiser

The Perry Women’s Club (PWC) has launched a “home improvement” fund to make much-needed repairs and upgrades to the historic club house located on North Main Street.

One of the first improvements on the list is the replacement of the ceiling fans which cool and light the main banquet room.

Members will host a soup and sandwich fundraiser this Friday, April 19, to support the ceiling fan replacement project.

President Margie Gamble invites the community to visit the club between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for lunch. The menu includes your choice of tuna salad, chicken salad or egg salad sandwiches, paired with chicken and noodle, beef and vegetable or cheese and broccoli soup.

Each meal will include dessert and a drink. Tickets are $10 each. Dine-in, carry-out or delivery (for orders of five or more) options are available.
