County seeks funding from U.S. Congress

Once again hoping to make the most of the spotlight focused on Taylor County after last-year’s devastating double punch of Hurricane Idalia and the closure of Georgia-Pacific’s Foley Cellulose mill, the Taylor County Commission is requesting funding assistance from the U.S. Congress on a number of projects that either did not make the state budget or were only partially funded.
