    Maggie Fudge, 80, was born Oct. 16, 1943, to the late Mark and Madlean Hall in Madison.

    She transitioned on April 11, 2024.

    She attended public school in Madison County.

    She served as an active member of Mount Olive M. B. Church and, later, joined the Church of Jesus Christ in Perry.

    Maggie Fudge was highly passionate about her family and helping others in the community.

    She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was full of life and entertained her loved ones with her laughs and jokes. 

    She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Jackie Burney (Leroy), Pamela Fudge, James Fudge (Greer) and Patrick Fudge of Perry; nine grandchildren, Wayne Gee, April Gee, Lashundra White, Tanisha Phillips, Jessica Guest, Tanzia Fudge, Iesha Davis, Jarvis Fudge and Ja’Kala Fudge; two siblings, Albert Hall and Connie Mae Ware of Madison; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

    Public visitation will be held Friday, April 19, from 5-6 p.m. at Trinity House of Praise.

    A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at St. James 
    Missionary Baptist Church in Madison, followed by interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Madison.
