Philip “Phil” Louis Kallschmidt, 83, passed away on April 16, 2024, in Perry.
He was born on Aug. 23, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Phil was an aviation mechanic all his life, working for Procter & Gamble, Thomas & Betts and Harrah’s, as well as working on his own full-time up until just a few weeks prior to his death.
He was a hard worker, never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need.
Phil was proceeded in death by: his wife, Carol (Bunny) Kallschmidt; his father, Louis Kallschmidt; his mother, Martha Kallschmidt Zolg; and stepfather, Chic Zolg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia (John) Bradshaw and Amy (DeWayne) Sadler; grandchildren, Jared (Ali) Bradshaw, Zach (Sarah) Bradshaw, Nathan (Keysha) Sadler, Nicholas (Jessica) Sadler, Noah Sadler, Tailor Gilyard (James Woods) and Joseph (Cathrine) Bradshaw; great-grandchildren, Elena Bradshaw, Sean Bradshaw, Baby Bradshaw, Jacob Sadler, Onyx Anderson-Woods; and a host of family and friends.
Services for Phil will
be announced at a later time.
Burns Funeral Home of Perry is in charge of all
arrangements.
