Mary Louise Edwards Foor

Mary Louise Edwards Foor fell asleep in Jesus on April 12, 2024, at 60 years old in the ICU at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 21,1963, in Boston, Mass., to Leslie Nelson Edwards and Vera (Remondi) Edwards and was raised in Perry, her father’s hometown. Mary was preceded in death by her 24-year-old son, Ian Foor, in October 2023, and her father, Leslie N. Edwards, in March 2023. She is survived by: her husband, Mark Burke Foor; daughter, Brianne(Foor) Barrow (Michael); granddaughter, Annelise Serene Barrow; two sisters, Julie A. (Edwards) Gilliard (Wade) and Laura L.(Edwards) Sadler (Timothy); and one brother, Thomas L. Edwards II; a host of nieces, nephews and cousin. Mary graduated from Taylor County High School in 1981, took a job with the FBI in Washington, D.C., met her husband and moved back to Florida in 1984. She worked for the State of Florida and retired in 2018. She loved her job and the people she worked with. She loved crafts such as piecing and quilting quilts, needlepoint, crocheting and knitting, working with her hands. She enjoyed her immediate family doing reenactments of the Civil War at three venues. I am sure she will be missed by those who knew her well. Services are not planned at this time.
