    City officials say first step taken toward fixing Buffalo Drive water quality issues

    City Water Department Superintendent Andrew Peters opens a hydrant in the area of Buffalo Drive to help flush the water lines last week.

    The City of Perry believes it may have taken the first step in alleviating water quality problems plaguing some Buffalo Drive residents by tapping into a larger six-inch water main that provides more pressure and an increased amount of flow compared to the previous two-inch diameter line.
