Delia Kay Folsom

Delia Kay Folsom stepped over into the arms of her Lord and Savior on April 28,2024.

Kay was born to Norva and George Hathcock on Dec. 18, 1948.

She was married to Ronnie (Dewey) Folsom for 34 years before his passing.

Kay loved her family, God, her church family and especially her grandchildren.

She loved basketball, softball, racing and really mostly sports.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; three brothers, Staff, Jimmy and Joseph Hathcock; and two sisters, Marlene (Ralph) Bratcher and Frances (Buster) Durden.

She is survived by: her two children, Ronald (Lisa) Folsom and Cheryl Kay Folsom Smith; her grandchildren, Katie Smith, Abbigale Smith, Justin Folsom, Tyler Folsom, Aubrey and Colton Folsom; her brother, Don (Betty Ann) Hathcock; and her sisters, Virginia (George) Sheffield, Diann (Wayne) Padgett, Cheryl (Shannon) Black and Denise (Roger) Stiles; along with host of nieces and nephews that she loved so dearly.

A Celebration of Life service is planned Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m. at God’s House of Prayer.
