With the Atlantic hurricane season starting this Saturday, June 1, University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF-IFAS) researchers are preparing for the season with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment that will help them determine how extensively forests are damaged during individual hurricanes.
