Harold Eugene Cowper Jr.

Harold Eugene Cowper Jr., 62, passed away on May 26, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

He was born Feb. 16, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, to Harold Eugene Cowper Sr. and Barbara Ann Cowper.

Harold was of the Christian faith and a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church.

Harold worked as a mold maker with Kincaid Plastics.

He enjoyed four-wheeling with his grandchildren. You could also find him hunting, fishing and looking for arrowheads.

Harold loved having family gather around for cookouts at home.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Harold Eugene Cowper Sr. and Barbara Ann Cowper; his brother, Michael Cowper; and his sisters, B-Ann Caryl and Teresa Webster.

Mr. Cowper is survived by: his wife of 36 years, Debra Cowper; his children, Apryl Cowper, Ashlie (Josh) Weatherly and Chip (Taylor) Cowper; his grandchildren, Autumn, Ada, Arielle, JJ, Lizzie and Junie; and his sister, Kathy (Joel) Genaw; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 1, at 1 p.m. at Blue Creek Baptist with Pastor Justin Goins officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
