Movie night set for Jena Tech Library on June 8

Sponsored by the Steinhatchee Stingrays Recreation Association (SSRA), there will be a series of summer movie showings at Jena Tech Library (4582 SW Hwy. 358) beginning Saturday, June 8, at 8:30 p.m.

“You can watch ‘drive-in’ style from your golf carts, bring chairs or blankets and enjoy a classic movie and a full concession stand with hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks,” organizers said.

“We will be spraying the field for pesky pests before you arrive and setting up fans to cool the evening and a great sound system to put you in the mood for an old-fashioned community movie night.”

Additional “Movie Nights” are planned for June 15, June 22 and each Saturday through August.
