Cherry Street sewer work

City of Perry Wastewater Department Supervisor Shawn O’Quinn (left) got a first-hand look at the equipment and process used to “slip line” a leaky sewer line Wednesday under a portion of Cherry Street North located just north of Ash Street. A Precision Pipe Lining crew certified by Perma-Liner Industries used cutting-edge trenchless technology to re-line and rehabilitate old sewer drain piping with patented machinery that reinforces existing pipes with an epoxy-saturated felt liner.
