Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Perry, Florida will hold a Public Hearing on June 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM (EDT) or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The meeting location will be at the City Council Room 224 South Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida and is for the purpose of considering approval of the proposed City of Perry, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), State Revolving Fund (SRF), adoption of the Wastewater Facility Plan for the implementation of comprehensive improvements for the wastewater system. This hearing will include a discussion of the Clean Water Facility Plan and the financial impact on system users. The hearing is intended to afford individuals the opportunity to be heard on the economic and social effects of the location, design, and environmental impact of the clean water system improvements. The funding for this project is anticipated to come from the FDEP CWSRF loan program. In general, the project will include improvements to existing wastewater treatment facilities and sewer systems. Reports, documents, and data relevant to the discussion are to be available for public review at the City Hall. Other business which may properly come before the City Council will also be addressed. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
