School board will ask voters to renew ‘critical needs’ property tax

The Taylor County School Board unanimously voted Tuesday to ask voters to renew a 0.25 mill critical needs property tax for an additional four years to help cover increased technology costs.

The referendum will be on the Aug. 24 primary election ballot.
