    Posted on July 12, 2024

Patrick Chesney Allbritton Jr., known as “Little Pat” to his family in Perry and “Junior” to family and friends in Live Oak, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at his home in O’Brien, on July 1, 2024, at the age of 50. He was born Sept. 8, 1973. A native of Live Oak, he moved to Perry, graduating in 1991 from Taylor County High School, where he lettered in football.

Pat was a veteran of the United States Army, stationed in Hawaii. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Nutrien until he became disabled after a car accident. In his earlier years, he was a car salesman at his daddy’s dealerships in Live Oak and Lake City. He was a Baptist.

Pat Jr. was predeceased by: his maternal grandparents, Robert and Myrtice Ricketson Foskey; an uncle who was like a brother, Robert (Robbie) Foskey Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Hubert and Maria Fink Allbritton; and his daddy, Patrick C. Allbritton Sr., who died in October 2023.

He is survived by: two sons, Tyler Allbritton and Brantley Allbritton, both of O’Brien; his mama, Teresa “Terry” Foskey Walker and her husband, John, of Perry; a sister, Kristina “Sissy” Howard of Perry; two brothers, Bryan Howard, and his wife, Luanne, and Derrick Howard, all of Perry; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews (one he never got to meet). He loved them all.

A farewell celebration will be held Saturday, July 20, at his aunt Wanda Sue Foskey Kuehn’s home (time to be announced).

Rest in peace, my oldest child. Love and miss you, Mama
