    School supplies, essentials will be given away July 24, 27 & Aug. 3

    The first event will be held Wednesday, July 24, at First Baptist Church, from 6-7:15 p.m.

    The annual “Back2School Bash” will feature bounce houses, concessions (hot dogs, sno cones and popcorn) face painting, music, door prizes and community displays.

    Each child present will receive a free backpack filled with their required school supplies.

    The church is located at 102 North Center Street, and everyone is welcome.

    The second and third events will be held on Saturday, July 27.

    Kingdom Culture Church, located at 105 Sandra Street, will hold a Back to School “Essentials” giveaway, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Volunteers will distribute: oral care products, deodorant, wipes, hair care products, feminine products and body care products.

    Hot dogs and drinks will be served.

    Everyone is invited to attend this free event.

    Also on Saturday, July 27, the Raymond Cromartie Jr. Chapter #128 OSE, PHA (an entity of the Jerusalem Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, PHA Jurisdiction of Florida) will hold a Back to School Backpack Giveaway, starting at 11 a.m.

    The free event will be held at Loughridge Park and children must be present to receive free supplies.

    The fourth event, Theresa Britt’s annual “Back to School Bash” is planned Saturday, Aug. 3, at Loughride Park, starting at 11 a.m.

    “Come enjoy a water slide, bounce house, firetruck display, face painting and more,” Britt said.

    Smokey Bear will make a special guest appearance and much more is planned.

    Loughridge Park is located at 1100 West Hampton Springs Ave.
