    Eldon Tony “E.T.” Carter

    Eldon Tony “E.T.” Carter, “E.T.” 51, passed away on July 20, 2024, in Perry. He was born Feb. 1, 1973, in Madison to Eldon Carter and Virginia Kaye Terrill. Tony was a welder by trade and enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed running his deer dogs, but turkey hunting was his true passion. H is family is what he lived for, and he loved them all very much. Tony is survived by: his wife, Stefane “Hope” Holton Carter; his daughter, Cierra Carter; his sons, Shane (Abbey) Carter, Driston (Hayley) Carter, Rance Carter and Ryder Fronek; his grandchildren, Ka’Mari Carter, Wrenly Carter, Ja’Harlyn Thompson and Makenna Carter; his parents, Eldon Carter and Virginia Kaye Thompson; and his siblings, Timmy (Jesica) Carter and Tina (Jesse) Cannon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, those he “ran the road with” and his hunting crew. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 27, at Calvary Baptist Church on Golf Course Road at 10 a.m., with a celebration of life to follow at 11 am. Interment will follow at Rocky Ford Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
