School Board takes 1st vote on tentative budget next July 30

The school board’s “required local effort” ad valorem tax millage rate for Taylor County taxpayers will drop a scant .115 percent for the coming year, with a proposed millage rate of 5.592 being eyed for the coming 2024-25 fiscal year.
