The highly-anticipated Smokin’ in the Pines Bugs and BBQ Festival is set to sizzle once again, bringing a weekend of mouth-watering barbecue, live music, VW Bug Show and family-friendly fun to Perry on Sept. 20-21.

This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a wide range of activities and attractions for attendees of all ages.

Hosted at the scenic Forest Capital Park, the Smokin’ in the Pines BBQ Festival will feature some of the best BBQ pitmasters from across the region, showcasing their skills and competing for top honors in several categories, including ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken.

The event is free for attendees, tickets for the Smokin’ in the Pines BBQ Festival “People’s Choice” tasting contest are $10 and are available for purchase now at www.smokininthepinesbbq.com or can be purchased at the gate (limited amount to be sold).
