With forecasts calling for the possibility of a wintery mix of rain, freezing rain and sleet today (Wednesday), local officials are urging residents to use caution on the roadways.
The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for a chance of rain or freezing rain before 1 p.m., then a chance of rain and sleet between 1 and 4 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Little or no snow accumulation is expected. The high is projected to only reach 36 before dropping to the high 20s or low 30s tonight.
