New sand at Hodges Park

Hodges Park received a makeover last week, with multiple loads of sand trucked in to replace what was lost from Hurricane Idalia. The county is currently working on a timeline for a “design build” project that would completely renovate the popular Keaton Beach spot, including: a new playground with shade coverings, volleyball court, new restrooms and picnic pavilion, new parking lot with permeable pavers, new sidewalks and boardwalk to the fishing pier and new security lighting.
