Debris from Hurricane Debby must be roadside by Sept. 22

    Posted on August 30, 2024

Debris removal contractors picked up and hauled thousands of truckloads of hurricane debris from public rights-of-ways in the months after Hurricane Idalia hit Taylor County in August 2023. Local residents have until Sept. 22 of this year to place Hurricane Debby debris by the roadside for pick-up.

Property owners with debris from Hurricane Debby must have it alongside a county-maintained roadway by Sept. 22 for it to be picked up by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its contractors.
