Lindle Kay Livingston, a beloved wife and homemaker, passed away on Sept. 4, 2024, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Born on March 2, 1944, in Mayo, Lindle was a devoted wife to her husband Jimmy Livingston for 59 years. Throughout their life together, Lindle found joy in nurturing her family and tending to her home in Perry. She had a passion for gardening, adoring the beauty of flowers and the grace of hummingbirds and red birds that visited her garden. Lindle enjoyed cooking for her family, and her holiday decorating always brought cheer. A woman of simple pleasures, Lindle content was in creating a peaceful and loving environment for her loved ones. Her dedication to caring for others was evident in everything she did. A graveside service to honor Lindle’s life was held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m., with Pastor James Nowell officiating. Her memory will forever be cherished by: her husband, Jimmy Livingston; her son, Gary (Ginger) Livingston; her daughter, Rhonda (Eddie) Johnson; four grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren, her brothers, Charles (Louis) Hart and Douglas (June) Hart; and her sister, Geraldine (Jimmy) Wright; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. In the quiet reflection of Lindle’s life, we remember a woman whose love and care enriched the lives of those around her. May her spirit find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort to all those who loved her. Lindle was preceded in death by: her parents, Claud and Gladys Hart Sr.; her brother, Claud L. Hart Jr.; and one grandson, Brian Livingston.
