    Vandalism leads city to board up park restrooms

    City workers boarded up restrooms at the downtown Rosehead Park splash pad this week after the city council voted 3-1 Tuesday in favor of closing the facilities until new reinforced metal doors can be ordered and installed to help with ongoing vandalism and damage.

    In response to what City Councilman Bill Brynes referred to as “embarrassing” conditions, the Perry City Council voted 3-1 Tuesday night to temporarily close the public restrooms at Rosehead Park’s splash pad.
