‘Southern-fried’ author speaks Sept. 30

Rhett Devane will be the featured guest speaker at the Monday, Sept. 30, meeting of the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library.

The Chattahoochee author will discuss her series of “Southern-fried novels,” including “Cathead Crazy,” “Parade of Horribles” and her latest work, “Ditch Weed.”

Reviews of “Ditch Weed” spotlighted Devane’s “amazing wit and character development,” with a cast of diverse characters in a small southern town setting.

The Monday meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the library, which is located at 403 North Washington Street. Everyone is welcome.
