Hampton files city code violation complaints against horse owners

Perry City Councilwoman Shirlie Hampton raised a few eyebrows Tuesday night when she stated she had filed code enforcement violation complaints against city residents who have horses on their property.

“I did it—I filed so we can get some fairness,” Hampton said.
