Riley Wynn

Riley Wynn, 85, of Lamont went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024.

He was born on March 23, 1939, in Perry to the late Phillip and Melissa Wynn.

Riley attended and graduated from Jerkins High School. He was employed as a Triple A Millwright at Buckeye Cellulose and retired after being employed for 35 years.

Riley enjoyed wood work, cabinet making, hunting and fishing.

He was formerly married to Helen Porter, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Maude Robinson Wynn; one son, Russell Wynn; four daughters, Wanza Collins (Daniel), LaTanya Mays (Greg), Hope Wynn and Candace James (Ronnie); two sisters, Edith W. Johnson and Lucy Miller; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 5-6 p.m. At Trinity House of Praise.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Trinity House of Praise, followed with the interment at Springhill Cemetery in Perry.

Trinity Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
