State, federal aid continue to flow into Taylor County

Taylor County High School students were given a firsthand look at their state government in action Wednesday when Gov. Ron DeSantis staged press conference at the campus. DeSantis, joined by DOE Commissioner Manny Diaz, Jr. and other state officials, presented a $50,000 donation from the Florida Disaster Fund to the Taylor County Education Foundation to assist the school district with relief efforts.

Governor Ron DeSantis visited Perry again on Wednesday as he continued to tour various areas in Florida impacted by Hurricane Helene.
